At the heart of the Capizzi MD practice is Dr. Capizzi’s dedication to helping his patients to become their ideal of their best selves, while maintaining a healthy, natural look and feel. He gets to know each patient – he takes a look at their everyday lives, to put their goals in context and ensure that the practice is providing the treatments and procedures most in line with producing the desired results.
This approach – part of the proprietary "Capizzi Method™" of achieving optimal results – carries over to the practice culture. Nurses, aestheticians, receptionists – all are made aware of their important role in the practice, all are part of a cohesive team. Each has a warm, respectful, professional relationship with one another, and with Dr. Capizzi. Ideas for improving the practice are encouraged. Dr. Capizzi brings team members with him to look into new technologies to help his patients. Team members pursuing further education are nurtured, and achievements celebrated.
An outstanding example of a Capizzi MD team member who reached an education milestone is Grace Anglin, who in 2017 completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice (D.N.P.) degree with concentration as a Family Nurse Practitioner (F.N.P.) from East Carolina University. With the Capizzi MD team since 2013, Grace is a former cardiac nurse, who has worked in healthcare for over a decade. Grace received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
Grace’s practice at Capizzi MD is focused on Women’s Health, including Profound skin tightening, cellulite treatment and diVa™ laser vaginal therapy, as well as wellness and weight loss. In addition, she is an Advanced Injector as trained by the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, providing patients with expertly performed Botox and dermal filler injections, by appointment and at Charlotte’s only walk-in Botox Bar. Grace’s practice also includes non-surgical fat reduction, such as Coolsculpting and Kybella, along with the treatment of dermatologic skin conditions. Grace also meets with insurance consults, such as breast reduction patients, to screen them preoperatively for surgery.
When she’s not at work providing top-notch care for her patients, Grace is often out on the water, and/or accompanied by her basset hound buddy, Buffy-Anne.
